Every booking is full-service: equipment sized to the room, and a dedicated engineer at the desk from load-in to load-out.

Point-source PA or Line Arrays* sized to your venue, run through a digital console for clean, even coverage across the room.
*Line Arrays are provided via trusted rental sources.

Microphones

Wired handheld and instrument microphones — for speeches, performers, panels, or a full band.

Monitor Mixes

Individual monitor wedges so performers hear themselves clearly on stage, no matter what's happening out front.

Stage & Signal Management

Snakes, DI boxes, stage boxes, and cable runs handled and hidden cleanly — no clutter, no tripping hazards.

On-Site Engineering

An engineer is present the entire event, not just for drop-off — live mixing and troubleshooting happen in real time.

Professional multitrack recording is available upon request for live performances and events, with mixing and mastering services available for a polished final product.

About AMJ Sound Engineering

Andrew has been running live sound since age 15, covering everything from backyard parties to theatrical productions. AMJ Sound was built on one idea: sound should be seamless and reliable, meaning artists, performers, and event organizers to focus on what they do best while we handle the sound.

We show up early, test everything before doors open, and stay attentive for the whole event — not just setup. Events can change quickly, and unexpected issues or last-minute adjustments can happen at any time. We stay present and prepared to adapt, troubleshoot, and keep everything running smoothly.

Do you provide the equipment, or do I need my own?
Everything is full-service — we bring all gear and run it ourselves. No standalone rentals.
How far in advance should I book?
4–6 weeks for most events, 2–3 months for weddings in peak season.
What's your service area?
We proudly serve clients throughout the Tri-State Area, with a primary focus on Somerset County, New Jersey and surrounding regions.
Do you require a deposit?
Any applicable deposit requirements and payment details will be discussed during the initial phone consultation.
Can you work with our venue's in-house AV team?
Absolutely. We’re happy to work alongside venue in-house AV teams and coordinate with their staff throughout the event. We have experience integrating with existing AV systems and working within venue-specific setups, ensuring everyone is on the same page and the production runs smoothly.
